Climate justice, international organizations and cooperation: challenges for the 2030 Agenda in Brazil

This article presents the dossier Climate Justice, International Organizations and Cooperation: challenges for the 2030 agenda in Brazil, which discuss diverse and complementary aspects of the climate agenda and Brazilian international commitments. The dossier focuses on demands for justice, which expand and worsen from the well-known social issue to the urgent climate issue. Global warming and the intensification of extreme events caused by climate change have become a reality and it is necessary to understand its complex dimension to think about possibilities to mitigate and adapt societies to this new era. The dossier offers a broad overview of the topic, with a critical and interdisciplinary approach, considering the multiplicity of actors and levels involved.
